We are back to work this saturday, February 16. We are meeting again at 8:00 AM at Adairsville Church of God to organize and hand out assignments. We are going to need some people with front-end loaders, dump trucks, bobcats and heavy equipment operators. We are also going to need skilled construction workers with tools. We are starting the process of rebuilding. We will have teams patching roofs, fixing windows, re-attaching siding, etc… Just some food for thought, since the tornado, we have had over 2,400 volunteers come through and give up their time to help with the recovery efforts in Adairsville.

Weather Delay
We are suspending work in Adairsville for the next couple of day due to weather. We are seeing rain in our forecast and we think it would be better to let it stop and get out before we work again. Stay tuned for when we will resume our recovery efforts.
Thanks for your understanding!
Another Work Weekend
Everyone, we will be working again this weekend. Check in/Registration will start at 8:00 AM at Adairsville Church of God. We are going to try and finish the debris clean up and send out assessment teams to the area. We have some heavy equipment that just need equipment operators. If you are free anytime this weekend would appreciate your help. As of right now we have already had 2,200 people come through and help us clean up from the tornado disaster in Adairsville.
Heavy Equipment Operators are still needed
We are still in need of volunteers. We need people who can operate heavy equipment. We have some tractors, etc. but need the operators. All volunteers are still welcome. When volunteers show up to register please specify if you are volunteering to do special work, i.e. chainsaw, drive equipment or if they are volunteering to do assessments. This will help us make sure you get on the right team.
1 Week after the Tornado
Good Morning,
We first want to start off again saying our thanks to all the volunteers that have shown up to help with the recovery, to Team Rubicon for their guidance through the first days of recovery and help with accessing our immediate needs, but most important we want to say “Thank You” to our Creator for supplying for all our needs and protecting everyone out working. So far our clean up efforts have been spectacular. We are now transitioning from clean up to assessing the needs that families have. We know of right now 31 housing needs. This means that 31 families have completely lost their house. We know of another 91 families that have other needs. Starting this morning, we are sending out teams to start surveying the rest of Adairsville. The teams will be out talking with those who were hit and looking at the damage. If you would like to help, please come by the Adairsville Church of God at 9 AM any day this week to be put on a surveying team.
